ABOUT ME!

Hiii I'm the webmaster of swirlybearry! I'm a 19 year old college student pursuing a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, and I'm also considering a minor in communications! I aspire to be a full-time artist, but I also have an interest in media-related fields like graphic design, journalism, and social media.

I love music, horror movies (particularly 80’s horror movies), cute characters (Gloomy Bear is one of my favs obvi), and my son (my cat). I also love adventure games! Two of my favorites are Animal Crossing: New Horizons and The Legend of Zelda: BOTW.

I have a sweet tooth:
I love love LOVE sweets and baked goods! I don't eat sweet treats that often, because obviously it's not good for my health lol, but when I do I cherish every bite of the sweet, yummy goodness. I’ve also loved baking since I was a kid, and I make cakes and treats for friends and family on special occasions.

Im an ambivert:
I keep my inner circle small, and I don't like when new people try to get too close too fast. I like to stay in most of the time and enjoy my hobbies, but I also like interacting with new people. I also start to get cabin fever when I bedrot for too long, so I like going out to events every so often. I struggle with social anxiety, so I do get a bit stressed out going out, but I also love meeting new and interesting people and connecting with them, and hearing diferent perspectives of life.

I value authenticity:
I love it when people are unapologetically themselves. They mean what they say, they're not trying to please anyone, they're just open and honest. Not caring about what's trending or putting a label on themself. This is how I try to carry myself and how, ideally, I want other people to approach me. I believe that being authentic is the only way we are able to truly connect with other people.
